Description
The Starter Brushes is a bit of contact that transmits the battery current to the commutator of a starter motor. These are copper and carbon alloy construction are in housings on the endplate of the starter. If there's a banging sound inside the tool's motor when it runs, then it's most likely a brush. It could also be a poor armature, but if that is the case, then it's most likely it will certainly need to be changed. The banging sound is brought by either a deformed or damaged brush or a malformed armature. The REPLACEMENT BRUSHES (BK900) applies to American-made permanent magnet outboard starters. The premium quality marine electrical parts are necessary to start and charge your marine engine. All new OEM products and remanufactured units are built and tested under the strictest quality control standards.
