Description
Accidents in a vessel are not new for boaters; fires, voltage fluctuations, and other electrical situations can cause unexpected harm.
Getting the correct thermal circuit breaker is one safety measure to avoid these occurrences.
The Thermal AC/DC Circuit Breakers is for electrical circuit protection from damages caused by excessive current. These push-to-reset circuit breakers, known for their vibration and shock resilience, are a cost-effective alternative to magnetic breakers. They have the advantage of being resettable after tripping, as compared to sacrificial fuses. Panel mounted compact design. Bakelite-made with stamped brass connections and quick-connect terminal type. In damp conditions, the optional Thermal Breaker Boot (420839) provides additional protection. When an overload or short circuit is detected, circuit breakers use an automatically operated electrical switch to interrupt the electric current flow. Thermal Circuit Breakers are safety devices that interrupt an electrical circuit if the temperature rises to a dangerous level.
