Description
The float chamber is a device that automatically regulates the flow of liquid to a system. It is in an internal combustion engine's carburetor, where it automatically meters the fuel flow to the engine.
A carburetor's floats have metal or plastic construction. The float chamber functions in the same way that a toilet tank does. The floats "float" on top of the fuel in the float chamber. The floats swivel on a rod and open or close the needle valve via the tang.
